Elizabeth Parkes is the principal of the firm. She became a partner in Gelling Johnson Farrant in 1993, having qualified as an advocate in 1988. Her experience over the years includes all aspects of the firm's work. |

Pamela Butterworth is an associate advocate and was called to the Manx Bar in 1999, having previously qualified as a barrister in London. Ms Butterworth appears regularly in court and her previous experience includes working as a Civilian Prosecutor for the Isle of Man Constabulary. She has appeared in numerous court hearings for the firm's clients on a wide range of matters such as personal injuries, matrimonial and children's matters. |

Chris Grimson is an associate advocate and was called to the Manx Bar in January 2012. He previously worked in various advocates’ practices on the island as a paralegal for many years, and has been with the firm since 1996. He specialises in litigation, health & safety and employment. |

Marc Furness is a trainee advocate. He worked in private practice in England where he qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales prior to relocation to the Island. Since relocation Marc has worked in-house for a large construction company. He specialises in Property, Wills and Probate matters and has been with the firm since July 2011. |

Christine Clague is our conveyancing manager and has been with the firm since 2001. Prior to that, she worked for fourteen years in a local bank, specialising in probate work. |
