Elizabeth Parkes

Managing Director
Liz is the managing director of GJF and joined the company in 1984. She qualified as an advocate in 1988 and over the years has amassed experience in all aspects of the company’s work, but her main interests are Wills and Probate. In her spare time, Liz enjoys gardening, reading and DIY.

Pam Butterworth

Pam was called to the Manx Bar in 1999, having previously qualified as a barrister in London. Pam joined GJF in 2000 but left in 2002 to work as a civilian prosecutor for the Isle of Man Constabulary. She returned to the company in 2004 and has appeared regularly in numerous court hearings since. Pam primarily appears on behalf of the child in public law family matters. Outside of the office, Pam is often found playing golf.

Ailsa Dennett

Ailsa has been with GJF since June 2019 and has a broad background in the provision of legal services.  She was called to the Manx Bar in 2000. Ailsa works in most areas of general practice and when not in work, Ailsa likes to spend as much time as possible outdoors.

Christine Crellin

Christine has been with GJF since 2001 and is our conveyancing manager. Previously, she worked for fourteen years in a local bank, where she specialised in probate work. She has a wide range of expertise in all aspects of conveyancing and spends her spare time in the garden or walking when the weather permits. When the weather is inclement, she loves to read.

Paul Fargher

Paul is a conveyancer and has been employed by GJF since 2004. He has lots of experience in residential conveyancing and legal administration, previously working as a paralegal for a number of years. Away from work, he enjoys running and photography.

Alex Gelling

Alex joined GJF in July 2019. Alex graduated from the University of Chester with a degree in Law with Criminology in 2018, she then completed a Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2019. She aspires to be an advocate and complete her articles on the Isle of Man. In her spare time Alex enjoys reading and socialising.
